Cecilia S. Miranda

Cecilia S. Miranda received her Bachelor of Accounting from Florida International University in May 2017. Upon graduation, Ms. Miranda attended the University of Miami School of Law where she graduated cum laude in May 2020. During law school, Ms. Miranda interned for the Honorable John K. Olson in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida where she gained valuable insight on the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and the federal court system. Ms. Miranda was also a member of the University of Miami Business Law Review, the International Moot Court Program, and received Honors distinctions in Legal Communications & Research II, Advanced Appellate Advocacy, and Introduction to the Deal. 

Ms. Miranda joined Brito, PLLC in August 2022 and her practice focuses on transactional matters and complex commercial litigation matters, representing institutional clients and individuals in a variety of civil disputes. Ms. Miranda routinely assists her clients with the preparation of and review of franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements, as well as the submission of state registrations throughout the country. In addition, Ms. Miranda’s practice also includes the preparation and review of complex commercial contracts and other legal documents, including operating agreements, license agreements, and commercial leases.

Prior to joining Brito, PLLC, Ms. Miranda was an associate at a prominent complex commercial litigation firm, specializing in franchise law. 

Ms. Miranda is fluent in Spanish.
